Dear Bear,

Welcome.

If you're reading this, you've found the little place I've been quietly creating just for you.

I wanted to build something that could gently fill the space between us. A place where you could spend time with me, even when we're on opposite sides of the world. A place where you could get to know me more deeply through my thoughts, my stories, my favorite songs, my photographs, and the ordinary moments that make up my life.

To be completely honest, I'm still in disbelief that you've chosen to be my partner.

Sometimes I stop and smile because it still feels surreal that after all these years, after all we've been through separately and together, I get to call you mine. It is a blessing I never want to take for granted.

This little home is one of the ways I get to love you from afar.

Every room holds a different piece of my heart. Some will make you laugh. Some may surprise you. Others might help you understand me in ways that everyday conversations never could. My hope is that each time you visit, you'll leave knowing me a little better than before.

There will always be something new waiting for you here, just as there will always be more of me to share with you.

So make yourself comfortable.

This Living Room is where you'll find me most. Think of it as our place to sit together at the end of the day. I'll leave pieces of my life here for you: stories from Japan, little moments that made me smile, thoughts I couldn't wait to share, songs that remind me of us (also found on the record player), and the ordinary things that become extraordinary simply because I get to share them with you.
